With over 500 miles of shoreline and 23,000 acres of water, Smith Mountain Lake is the Jewel of the Blue Ridge Mountains. As the Virginia Dare leaves the dock, one of the first things you will see is the Smith Mountain Lake State park, with it numerous walking trails and sandy beach.
